Hi there, Jaynee! Welcome back to planDisney!
It looks like you are planning yet another fabulous
Walt Disney World Resort vacation. Well, I bet this time will be even more enchanting than ever, given that you will be visiting during
Walt Disney World's 50th Anniversary Celebration and the fabulous EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. You are in for such a treat, with so many exciting attractions and restaurants to enjoy during your vacation! Speaking of treats, have you had a chance to check out the
Foodie Guide on
Disney Parks Blog that breaks down all the delicious bites available from the festival’s
outdoor kitchens? I’ve got my eye on the Frushi from
Hanami at the Japan Pavilion. It looks so delicious, so I can’t wait to give it a try!
Now, before I talk for hours about the festival food, let’s get to your question! Getting groceries delivered to your
Disney Resorts Collection hotel is such a great idea! I find it so helpful to place an order for some water bottles to be delivered before I arrive, so I can stock the fridge in my room and have some nice cold water to grab as I head out the door for a day in the parks! The Cast Members working in Bell Services are always so wonderful and will absolutely accept and hold your grocery delivery until you arrive. However, you’re also welcome to wait and accept the delivery yourself, so It is entirely what works best for you and your vacation schedule! As for the fee you mentioned in your question, that only applies should you want your groceries delivered to your room by Bell Services once you have checked in. In which case,
a fee of $6 (the amount is subject to change) will be charged to your room account. However, you can absolutely pick up the groceries from the Bell Services desk and bring them to your room yourself free of charge.
I just know you will have such a fabulous time on our Walt Disney World Resort vacation. Spring is in the air at Walt Disney World, so make sure to stop and LITERALLY smell the many gorgeous roses around The EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival.
Have a magical day!
