Here we go! Off to Neverland, Rhiannon!
I am thrilled to see that you’ll be visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth in just a few short weeks! You’re going to have an absolutely magnificent time! Along with your fairy wings, I do hope you’ve planned to pack a small umbrella — we get quite a bit of rain during the afternoons in the fall and you’ll want to keep your Disney-bounding outfits dry!
I absolutely adore that you’re dressing as Tinker Bell for
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party! The night will be brimming with pixie dust, and I hope you can enjoy every single second. I did a little digging and even chatted with a friendly Cast Member about your particular question, Rhiannon. Based on what I have read, you should be just fine wearing your wings during non-party hours at the theme parks. The
Property Rules for Disney World do not specifically address light up fairy wings, but please be aware that Cast Members and security personnel will have the final say with dress code choices at the theme parks. I would recommend having a bag that you could carry your wings in when you’re going on a ride or for if you are not permitted to wear them. (Though, again, I think you should be just fine especially because they sell fairy wings at some gift shops within the theme parks.)
Since it seems that you’re into things that light up, I highly recommend putting
Disney Starlight on your agenda for your vacation! This nighttime parade would also be a lovely place for you to wear your wings!
If you have any additional questions, we hope you’ll visit us again here at planDisney!
Dreams do come true!
