I ordered tickets for a visit on 2/23/23 and have not received them yet. Can you tell me when they will be arriving? Also I need more info about using the park tickets. Are they paper tickets? Is there any kind of charge card device to put the info on ?

    Hiya Maureen!

Welcome to planDisney, and thank you for sending us this magical question! Although it may feel like your trip is far away now, I promise it will be there faster than you think. Plus, I always say the best way to spend the time leading up to your trip is to plan every aspect of your magical vacation.

At this time, theme park tickets do not get sent to you in the mail. Indeed, you should have received a confirmation number and issue number via email after making your purchase, so keep an eye out for that in your inbox! Also, if you already had a My Disney Experience account when you purchased the tickets, they might already be linked to your account. If you did not receive any confirmation number, however, and do not have any tickets linked to your profile under "My Plans" and "Tickets, Passes & Memory Maker" online, I would highly recommend reaching out to a Cast Member via chat, email or phone. Cast Members truly are real-life fairy godparents, and I always go to them for help.

Now, let's talk about what you have to do to be able to use them! The first thing you want to do once your tickets are linked to your profile(s) is book your theme park reservations. Indeed, theme park reservations are currently required in addition to your tickets to count as valid theme park admission. Then, once you have your tickets and theme park reservations, there are three ways you can use them. First, you can purchase a MagicBand or MagicBand+ and link it to your My Disney Experience account. This is especially great if you are staying at a Disney Resort hotel, as Resort hotel Guests have access to special pricing on MagicBand devices. Second, you can stop by a Vacation Planning window at the main entrance of any of the theme parks and request a physical ticket card. Third, you can download your ticket into your digital wallet on your Apple Watch, iPhone or Google Pay-enabled smartphone and use those devices to get into the theme parks. The best part is you can use all three methods simultaneously to figure out which one best fits your needs!

I hope that was helpful, Maureen, and that you and your fellow Mouseketeers will have the best day ever on your next Disney vacation. If you have any other questions in the time leading up to your trip, please don't hesitate to reach back out! Much like the Mickey Mouse Club, you're as welcome as can be here at planDisney!

    Have a magical day,
