Ilene from FL Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I ordered tickets online. How do I access them so we can enter the park?

Hey there, Ilene! Welcome to planDisney!

In just a few days you’ll be visiting The Walt Disney World Resort! And I want to make sure we have everything buttoned up for your magical visit!

Ilene, you should have received a confirmation email from Walt Disney World shortly after completing your ticket purchase. You can use the Will Call Confirmation Number presented in your email to link your Theme Park Tickets to your My Disney Experience account. Once your tickets are linked, remember to make Disney Park Pass reservations for your planned Theme Park days. I reviewed the Reservation Availability Calendar and noticed that some of the parks have limited reservations around your arrival date. So I would make reservations as soon as possible because availability is constantly changing, and I want you to grab a spot in your desired parks! Now that your tickets are linked and your parks are reserved, let’s discuss options for entering the Theme Parks.

If you haven’t already, I recommend downloading the My Disney Experience app to your mobile device. The My Disney Experience app gives you a Disney vacation command central right in the palm of your hand. With the App you can check attraction wait times, grab a Genie+ Lightning Lane Entrance, check into your resort hotel room, and even mobile order food. The My Disney Experience app also has - in my opinion - the most convenient method option for entering the Theme Parks via the Disney MagicMobile Pass. MagicMobile passes allow Guests to tap into the Theme Parks using their Apple or Android device, provided they meet the minimum requirements. MagicMobile passes can be created in the My Disney Experience app and are a convenient option to consider, even if only used as a backup to one of the options mentioned below.

Ilene, another option is to use a MagicBand as your ticket to enter the Theme Parks. New MagicBands are available through ShopDisney at an additional cost, but if you have one from a previous visit it may still work! Since you wear a MagicBand on your wrist like a watch, they are really convenient and easy to keep up with. What I love the most about MagicBands is that they come in a wide variety of styles and you can pick one that feels unique to you. It’s always really cool to see the different MagicBand styles as I navigate my way through the parks.

And if you would prefer a physical Theme Park ticket, you can visit a Ticket Window outside any of the Theme Parks or the Disney Ticket Center in Disney Springs. Be sure to bring the credit card used to purchase the tickets, the person who purchased the tickets, and a photo ID with you when you go to pick up your Theme Park tickets. If you would like to obtain your ticket cards before your first park day, I recommend heading to the Ticket Center in Disney Springs. In my experience, the service here has always been prompt, and you can use the opportunity to explore the fantastic offering in Disney Springs.

I hope this helps, Ilene! The magic awaits!

    Until Next Time,
