Joseph! It's always a pleasure to welcome a fellow guest who hails from the land where the scuppernong perfumes the breeze at night, our beloved Old North State! You're a solid candidate for father of the year since you've purchased tickets for your adult children, and I'd be pleased as punch to help you navigate the process of reassigning the tickets. You can do this either on the Walt Disney World website or via the My Disney Experience app, and I'll explain both processes and you can choose your favorite. Deal? Let's get to it.
To reassign tickets on the Disney World website, follow these steps:
- Log in to your My Disney account
- Hover over your character profile image in the top right corner
- Click "View My Plans & Tickets"
- Scroll below the "My Plans, Reservations and Tickets" heading
- Click the "Tickets, Passes & Memory Maker" tab
- Use the "Reassign Ticket" drop down menu on the right to assign the ticket to your child
If you don't see your children listed in the drop down menu, make sure you have connected with each of them via the
Family & Friends List.
To reassign tickets via the
My Disney Experience app, follow these steps:
- Open the app
- Tap the hamburger menu (≡)
- Tap "My Tickets & Passes"
- Swipe to the correct ticket
- Tap "Reassign Ticket"
- Select the person from the list and save
Remember,
only unused tickets can be reassigned, so make sure you do this well before you plan to visit.
I hope this helps you accomplish your ticket reassigning task, Joseph! You're going to have the best time with your kids on your upcoming vacation. Do you have plans to partake in any of the
autumnal entertainment or offerings? You might enjoy a visit to Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party or a progressive snack crawl across the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. Whatever you choose, I am wishing you long-lasting family memories.
Stay magical,
Scott
