Bright suns, Harrison, and thanks for bringing your question to
planDisney!
I’m so excited for you to experience some of my favorite activities at the
Disneyland Resort, including building a custom astromech droid unit at
Droid Depot, and building a custom lightsaber at
Savi’s Workshop – Handbuilt Lightsabers! Both of these are epic, interactive experiences that you’re going to remember forever!
So, here’s how it works: The credit card you used when making your reservation is simply to guarantee it, which means your card will only be charged if you don’t arrive as scheduled. If your plans change, you’ll want to cancel your reservation at least one day prior to your visit to avoid being charged as a “no-show." If you fail to cancel at least one day ahead, your credit card will be charged the current building cost per builder.
Assuming you show up for your reservations, you will pay for the experiences upon arrival. So, you can choose to use a different form of payment at that time if you prefer.
While in
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, I highly recommend downloading the
Play Disney Parks app, so you can become fully immersed in the Galaxy’s Edge experience. My son and I had a blast using the app on a mission in the
Millenium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run queue!
May the Force be with you, Harrison!
