Welcome to planDisney. This is it, it’s the final countdown until your
Walt Disney World vacation. How are you feeling? I’ll be honest, in my house, this is when I’m running around, double-checking my packing, and adding any last-minute essentials. Which usually means adding another suitcase. I’ve fully embraced that I am an overpacker.
I’m sure you are feeling a little worried about your MagicBands not arriving in time, but please Hakuna Matata, I’m here to help. I was looking at my most recent MagicBand order, and at the bottom of the tracking email, I found the statement “For Guest Service inquiries regarding this order, please reply to this email.” I recommend starting there and explaining your situation. The arrival date is also an estimated delivery date, so there’s still a chance they might make it in time!
If by chance they don’t, you still have options to
access the theme parks and your room. When you arrive, I recommend visiting the
Front Desk of your resort and explaining the situation to the Cast Member there. They will be able to assist you in getting a card to access your room during your stay. You can choose to use those key cards for park entry as well, or you can download Disney MagicMobile Service.
Disney MagicMobile Service is a digital service used to access the theme parks in the same way a MagicBand would. You’ll use the My Disney Experience app to download your theme park tickets to your mobile wallet and then tap your phone wherever you go. During our last family visit, I left my MagicBand at home by mistake, so I was able to use my cell phone to tap into the theme parks and access my room in the evening. It was a breeze.
