Thanks for swinging by with a question for us about your MagicBand order. There has been a lot of excitement surrounding the launch of the brand new
MagicBand+, and as a result, a lot of orders! For this reason, some personalized MagicBand orders are taking a bit longer than they might have in the past.
I placed and received a MagicBand+ order when they launched and can share my experience. I can also share some options you could have if your order doesn't reach you in time. I placed my order on July 27th for two personalized MagicBand+ models, and this was about three weeks before my arrival. The status on my order changed to "Shipped" about a week prior to my departure and I received the package three days after the status changed. Tracking information from USPS was
not updated during those three days, but I was notified the day I received it.
Some Guests have been getting their orders super quickly, some just in time, and a few are not arriving in time. If your MagicBands don't make it to you before you leave home for your trip, just stop by the Front Desk to speak with a Cast Member at your
Disney Resort. Remember, if you use
Online Check-in and the Direct-to-Room Service, you'll be able to use your
My Disney Experience Mobile app to unlock your Resort Guest room door even if you don't arrive with a linked MagicBand.
For additional help before you arrive, you may also want to try the
Chat With Us feature in the My Disney Experience Mobile App. They will likely advise you that Cast Members at your Disney Resort will take care of you.
