Greetings, Brianna!
Welcome to planDisney, friend. Hip, hip, hooray! Your trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth is just a little over a week away. I am sure that your entire travel party is getting excited about your upcoming adventure. Packing your
MagicBand+ along with your vacation essentials is probably high on your to-do list right now. But what can you do if your departure date arrives before your bands? Here are my pro tips for tracking your MagicBand+, and step to take should you arrive at Walt Disney World Resort, and your band does not.
My first tip is to keep checking your
My Disney Experience account to view the order status. Once the order changed from
In Progress to
Shipped you will receive an email with a tracking number for your order. You will also find this tracking information in your My Disney Experience account when your bands are on the way. You can find these details under the
My Magic Bands and Cards tab on the My Disney Experience drop-down menu. I do want to mention that my MagicBand+ order shipped and arrived just a few days before my most recent visit. The turnaround time on orders is taking a bit longer than it has in the past due to popular demand, and I can understand how this may cause worry. But Hakuna Matata friend. Should you find your order still pending days before your trip, here are my suggestions.
First, I recommend reaching out to a friendly Cast Member with
My Disney Experience, MagicBands, and MagicBand+ by phone. They may be able to give your more detail about your order status and any shipping options available. You can also use the
Chat With Us feature in the
My Disney Experience app to discuss your order. Should they confirm that your bands will not arrive in time, you will have options when you arrive at Walt Disney World Resort. You can pick up a complimentary Key to the World Card from your resort hotel front desk.
Disney MagicMobile Service will also be available during your stay. This feature of the My Disney Experience app gives you seamless entry to your Walt Disney World Resort hotel room and theme park tickets. It can even be used to link to your Disney PhotoPass pictures, Lightning Lane entrances, and more. And if you are still hoping to use MagicBand+, a variety of options are available at merchandise locations in the parks and most Walt Disney World Resort hotels.
I'll be keeping my fingers crossed that faith, trust, and pixie dust are headed your way; and that by the time you read these MagicBand+ tips, your order is already on its path to your door!
I hope your upcoming adventure is memorable and magical!
We'll see ya real soon!
