Having your Magicbands ordered and delivered ahead of your Walt Disney World Resort adventures is a great way to get a head start on the magic,
whether you've purchased them online or ahead of a
Disney Resort Hotel stay. As you may know, only current residents of the United States can have these personalized and sent to their home address so that you can have them ready to go and linked up with their
My Disney Experience app, but it'll often require you to ensure that each
MagicBand+ is fully charged before you set it up. Since it sounds like yours did not arrive with chargers I reached out to the Cast Members at Guest Relations and they shared with me some common ways that other guests have resolved similar situations:
- The most common issue is that some guests may have opened and removed their Magicbands without looking under the packaging to find the chargers beneath - so be sure to check before you throw any of it out!
- Whenever any Disney guests don't receive the products they've purchased or are missing any components, the Guest Services team let me know that the first thing they recommend is reaching out to the Merchandise Services department directly. This can currently be done over the phone Monday through Friday or via email at merchandise.guest.services@disneyparks.com - but be sure to include as much information as possible if you choose the latter option so that they can be more efficient when they look up your order.
- They also informed me that doing this sooner than later is best, as there is no guarantee whether the Cast Members will be able to provide you with chargers in person if you ordered these ahead of your Resort Hotel Stay.

As someone who has personally been through the process of seeking replacements or even a refund for missing parts of our purchases, they Cast Members in my experience have done a good job in quickly finding a resolution. (Though you can find additional chargers available in merchandise locations that sell Magicbands at Walt Disney World Resort, I'm crossing my fingers that they'll be able to resolve this for you before you arrive.)
