MagicBands really do make visits to Walt Disney World Resort more magical… and convenient! If I understand your question correctly, you’ve already ordered your family’s MagicBands for your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort and requested that they be shipped to
Disney’s Pop Century Resort. You’d like to know whether you can change the shipping address to your friend’s
Disney Resorts Collection hotel so that they can pick them up for you.
The answer to your question depends on whether your package has already been shipped to your hotel. If it hasn’t, you may be able to contact shopDisney and modify the shipping address. Please refer to the email confirmation that you received to be able to
Track your Order or log in to your shopDisney profile to see your order’s status. If you can’t find any information that way, you can always
contact shopDisney by phone or email.
That said, I’ve never had a problem picking up my family’s orders when we check in to our hotel. I’ve had to do this for every single one of my trips because, as you know, MagicBands can’t be shipped internationally. Based on my experience, picking them up at the front desk is easy and convenient. It only takes a few minutes and then we’re on our way, either to our room or out to a Theme Park to start our Disney Day. I honestly think it may be more trouble than it’s worth to change your order’s shipping address and then try to meet up with your friends in the 2 weeks before you leave for your vacation. I would recommend keeping your order “as is” and that you opt to pick it up at your Resort hotel's front desk, just to be on the safe side.
