    Hi! We just ordered our annual passes a week or two ag, will we have to activate our annual passes in the park in order to get our annual passholder magic band slides and ap stickers? or will they come in the box with our magic bands?

    Welcome to the Annual Passholder family! I love the convenience an Annual Pass brings to a Walt Disney World Resort vacation. My only warning is quick, last-minute trips to Walt Disney World become much more tempting when you have an Annual Pass waiting to be used! 

    You do have to activate an Annual Pass at one of the theme park ticket windows or any Guest Relations location, including Disney Springs before you can customize your Magic Band. Just a quick side note - when you activate your Annual Pass you will receive a card you will need to present, along with identification, in order to receive any discounts available to Passholders. I keep a close eye on the Passholder Program to see what current specials and discounts are available to Passholders.

    Once you have activated your Annual Pass and customized your Magic Band, the Magic Band will be shipped to you. Inside the box, you should find an Annual Passholder Slider for your Magic Band. I love my Slider because it has prevented my Magic Band from falling off my wrist more than once. 

    Once you have activated your Annual Pass you will also begin receiving the Mickey Monitor newsletter for Passholders. I received my Annual Passholder magnet inside the pages of my first Mickey Monitor. The Mickey Monitor is only sent four times a year so you may have to wait a bit to receive it and your magnet.
