Hi Rhonda, welcome to planDisney!
I'm so glad you reached out with this valid concern before purchasing your Walt Disney World Resort theme park ticket. A visit to the theme parks is a serious investment of time and resources. In the words of Kristoff on the verge of proposing to Anna, you wanna get this right!
Valid admission and theme park reservations are currently required for theme park entry. When you
purchase a ticket online, Rhonda, you are purchasing a general theme park ticket that can be used at any one of the four theme parks as opposed to a ticket for a specific park. This explains why you don't and won't see Magic Kingdom park listed during the ticket purchasing process. You do need to make sure you check the
Theme Park Availability Calendar before making your ticket purchase. Some parks are starting to fill up on certain days in May, but it looks like Magic Kingdom park is currently available for your travel dates. If this is the case when you look, as well, you should complete your ticket purchase and immediately
make a theme park reservation using the Disney Park Pass system. Your theme park reservation does not come with a confirmation number or email, but it will be visible on the planning page of your My Disney Experience account if you scroll down to "Daily Itinerary." Once you see that picture of Cinderella Castle and "Disney Park Pass/Magic Kingdom Park" above your name, you'll know your mission was a success.
Consider planDisney your biggest chEARleaders, Rhonda. Come back and see us again soon if you have any other questions or concerns about your visit to
The World's Most Magical Celebration.
Choose magic,
Jennifer
