In order to make suitcase space for purchases we'll make, I plan to bring clothes for my daughter which will be too small for next year's vacation so we won't take them home. Any suggestions as to what we could do with them? They're too good to throw away.

Hey there Jill!  I totally understand where you're coming from.  I usually order several Disney-themed outfits online prior to our vacation and wind up bringing them home, never to be worn again.  I think donating them is a great idea.

I would recommend contacting Disney World Lost and Found at (407)560-6296.  They will be able to discuss their donation procedures with you.  I am sure they would be happy to add your vacation clothing to the pile of unclaimed items collected for charitable donation.

Another idea would be to contact the Swan/Dolphin Resort.  They have a reputation for being very charity-friendly and are known for working with many charitable organizations.  As recipient of several community service accolades, I think Swan/Dolphin will be able to help you find a home for your vacation clothing.  I would call the resorts directly at (407)934-4000 and ask for the general manager.

I have enjoyed researching this for you and really admire your eco-awareness! KUDOS!

    Best Wishes,
