Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Wayne! I’m glad you’re hEAR! The Disney Dining Plan takes worry away and leaves you with handfuls of meal credits ready to use! My family adores snacks, and those at
Epcot’s International Food & Wine Festival are some of the best ones around!
It’s true that you can exchange a meal credit for 3 snack credits in one transaction at your register of choice. But I’m sorry to tell you that alcoholic drinks are still not an option for a snack credit, even when you downgrade from a meal credit. As far as specialty drinks go, you’ll have to have a keen eye for those purple DDP Disney Dining Plan logos. Located next to items on each menu board, those marks will qualify items to be snack credits.
Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort recently had a Split Screen Milkshake that was a great buy for a credit and the large fruit smoothies from
Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies are another worthy choice! So the answer to your question is yes and no. Depending on which outdoor kitchen you choose to eat at, check the menu. Some specialty beverages will qualify, while alcohol will not.
Be sure to check out the amazing tours and workshops offered this year at Epcot’s International Food & Wine Festival. The
Beverage Seminars on beer and wine are sure to bubble your interest and are only $17! ChEARS and we’ll see ya real soon! ~ Lindsey P.
