Hi, Larry! Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
The
holiday season is such a wonderful time to visit the
Walt Disney World Resort! The
Candlelight Processional at
Epcot is one of my favorite parts of a Christmastime visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth. During the Candlelight Processional, a celebrity narrator tells the story of the first Christmas, while accompanied by a choir and 50-piece orchestra. It is an incredibly beautiful and moving experience that is not to be missed.
Guests who would like to have guaranteed seating in a reserved section for a performance of the Candlelight Processional may book a
Candlelight Processional Dining Package. However, if you do not wish to reserve a Candlelight Processional Dining Package, you may still attend a performance of this awe-inspiring show. There is a standby line for each Candlelight Processional performance that any Epcot guest may enter. Please be aware that this is an extremely popular activity and seating is limited, so I would recommend arriving early to ensure that you will have a spot.
You mentioned that you will be using an
Electric Conveyance Vehicle (ECV) or scooter. When you arrive to line up at the entrance of the America Gardens Theater for the Candlelight Processional, be sure to speak with a Cast Member to inquire about
accessible seating options. They will be happy to direct you where to go.
As you get ready for your trip, be sure to check out these Disney Parks Moms Panel
tips for making the most of the holidays at the Walt Disney World Resort. Wishing you a happy holiday season and a magical vacation!
