    In order to receive a military discount do you have to be active? If you received an honorable discharge are you still eligible?

    Hi Suzi!

    There are requirements involved with the military discounts.  You must be active or retired military and hold a valid military ID.  Here's the exact terms from the discount:

    "active or retired members of the U.S. military, including the National Guard, Reservists and the U.S. Coast Guard"

    Spouses are also eligible, but again, must have a valid military ID. 

    Shades of Green (Armed Forces Recreation Center on Walt Disney World property) has opened up their reservations during the month of January 2013 (and September of last year) to veterans that have a DD-214 (http://www.shadesofgreen.org/saluteveterans.htm).  DD-214 must be shown to get this deal.  I think it's a great program, and hopeful that they'll do another promotion like this!
