In order to purchase a Dining Plan ,does one need to have room reservations and have purchased at least a one day Basic Park Pass? When are the usual dates for the free dining pass? Thank you. For your help.

Hi Sharon! Once you book your stay at a Walt Disney World resort, you will be eligible to add the Disney Dining Plan that best suits your needs. What you're asking about is called a simple reservation for the Walt Disney Resort you plan to visit. You will need to put a deposit down equivalent to 1 night's stay at the resort when you book, but it's easy to add Disney theme park tickets and other extras closer to the time of your arrival. Once your initial reservation is booked, it can only be altered by a Disney Cast Member by calling (407) 939- 5277.

If you would like to add the Disney Dining Plan to your reservation it must be done a minimum of 72 hours or 3 full days before your expected arrival - it cannot be added once you arrive at the resort.

Many people want to know about the Free Disney Dining Plan - it's an incredible promotion that's been offered in the past. Unfortunately no one knows if or when that promotion will return and the terms and conditions are always subject to change.

If you have any other questions to help plan your magical trip to Walt Disney World don't hesitate to ask, we love questions!
