Hi, there!
Lindsay, the countdown is on for your Walt Disney World Resort vacation. Wahoo!
Choosing which theme park to visit on which day of your stay is really a matter of personal choice. My family always tries to visit Magic Kingdom Park on the first and last days of our vacation. It just seems like the most magical way to begin and end our trips! It's savvy to check the
theme park hours ahead of time. Right now, it looks like each park has consistent hours during the week of your stay, but those hours may be adjusted closer to your arrival date. To make the most of our theme park admission, my family likes to arrive early and stay late. The longer the park is open, the better! That all said, I think your plan looks great. I have just a few recommendations!
On your rest day, consider going to
Disney Springs. Admission and parking are both free, and there's lots to explore! My kids love shopping at World of Disney and The Lego Store before enjoying dinner at
T-REX Restaurant, a family-favorite.
I also suggest purchasing an additional theme park ticket. With little ones in tow, I highly recommend spending at least two days in Magic Kingdom Park; one day to experience everything you can, and another to revisit favorites!
While you're counting down the days to your visit, be sure to watch the
free planning videos available online. They're full of useful information and helpful tips!
Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Lindsay. Have a few more planning questions? Keep them coming - I'd love to help!
