Hey there, Richard,
Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question! I last visited
Disneyland Resort this past December so I know firsthand how exciting it is to see Main Street, U.S.A. all decked out in its holiday best. Even the residents of
Cars Land over at
Disney California Adventure Park make sure to decorate in festive trimmings. It's truly a sight to behold!
While I can understand your interest in planning ahead,
theme park tickets and reservations are only available 120 days in advance at this time. You'll be able to purchase your one-day tickets for December 2023 toward the end of August later this year. Once it's time to make your purchase you'll be asked to select either
Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park for your
reservation that day. I always have a tough time choosing so I usually end up purchasing
Park Hopper Tickets which let me visit both parks on the same day.
No matter where you decide to spend your visit, I'd recommend purchasing
Disney Genie+ service as an add-on to your ticket. This will not only allow you to experience a number of attractions with a shorter wait time via Lightning Lane entrances, but you'll have the added bonus of downloading all your attraction photos and PhotoPass pictures taken throughout the park. You'll also have access to
Disney PhotoPass lenses which make for some pretty fun snapshot memories of your day, and better yet, you'll be able to continue using the PhotoPass lenses up to 45 days after your visit. Be sure to download the
Disneyland Mobile App in advance of your trip to purchase Genie+ and take advantage of all the wonderful features.
Come back and see us again with any other planning questions. We'd be happy to make your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth as magical as can be!
Memories and magic,
Amy
