Hello, I would like to order a mickey mouse Birthday cake for my baby for 12 people. I made a reservation at the plaza inn, however I can't get in contact with anyone. It is so frustrating I can't find a direct phone number

Hi there, Karmina! I'm so glad you found your way to planDisney. We just love helping fellow Guests find ways to personalize the magic at the Happiest Place on Earth. It sounds like you have quite a celebration to plan! Birthdays are made all that more special when you have friends, family, Mickey, Minnie, and some forever memory-making at your fingertips!

There are lots of different ways to make the day special, and of course, making that all-important wish on a birthday cake is essential! When it comes to options at the Disneyland Resort, several restaurants offer a Mickey Mouse Celebration Cake, which is as adorable as it is delicious! Currently, cakes can be ordered when making reservations for Café Orléans, Lamplight Lounge, River Belle Terrace, Wine Country Trattoria, and Blue Bayou Restaurant, which is currently closed for a little sprucing. You can choose between chocolate or white chocolate and have "Happy Birthday" engraved on the chocolate ears! One cake typically feeds 4 to 6 Guests. You will see the option to add the cake when making a reservation at those specific restaurants if you are at least 3 days ahead, or you can order in-person with the host upon arrival. Same-day cakes would be subject to availability.

I'm so sorry to say that The Plaza Inn does not currently offer the Mickey Mouse Celebration Cake. I know, not the magical news you were hoping for! You can always try to change your reservation (not a small feat with a large party, I realize!) to a restaurant that offers the cakes. If you are having difficulty securing a table for a party of 12, you can always try to make two reservations for six Guests each at around similar times. Generally, if you speak to the Cast Members upon arrival, they will do their very best to try to seat everyone together. Not a guarantee, but I know the Cast Members do work their magic if they can! If you have your heart set on the Plaza Inn, you can always choose a dessert off the menu - the Chocolate Fudge Cake might fit the bill! - and ask the Cast Members if there is some birthday pixie dust and a candle available so that wishes can be made and granted!

Karmina, I know this was not what you were hoping to hear, but I think we can get a little creative and add some magic into your day to make it extra special! When I'm traveling with a big group, I love to plan out at least one group photo which captures the moment. When you open the Disneyland Mobile App, you can actually see where the Disney PhotoPass photographers are located. From the home screen, click on the pinpoint icon on the bottom navigation bar. At the top of the next screen, you will see a drop-down menu where you can select "PhotoPass". Of course, Sleeping Beauty Castle is a classic icon, but there are tons of options and some include unexpected magic! Avengers Campus has some VERY fun Magic Shots if you have any superheroes in your bunch! If you have added Genie+ to your ticket, don't be shy because you will have access to unlimited digital downloads of all the Disney PhotoPass photos taken that day. Smile and say "birthday"!

Be sure to grab a complimentary celebration button right when you get to the parks. You can find them at City Hall just to the left as you pass under the Disneyland Railroad or at most retail locations. Your baby will be showered with birthday wishes, and you never know what kind of pixie dust might follow!

Karmina, I hope we sprinkled your planning with some of those birthday wishes. If you have any more questions, we are always here for you at planDisney

    Magic awaits!
