    If we were to order magic bands through the pre-arrival option for our hotel reservation in Disney World, would we be able to pick up in advance of our stay as we will be visiting the parks for a couple days before we stay at the hotel.

    I’m really glad you asked this excellent question, because I recently completed a similar itinerary, and also wanted to use my pre-purchased MagicBand+ towards my pre-stay off-property before my Disney Resort Hotel stay at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge – Jambo House, therefore I understand your planning sense.

    Chad, at this time, any pre-purchased MagicBands or MagicBand+ devices associated with a Walt Disney World Travel Company vacation package or stand-alone Disney Resort Hotel booking, can only be picked up at the Front Desk on the day of check-in because the pre-purchase price is a benefit of being a Disney Resort Hotel Guest (subject to change).

    Here are some ideas, with the last idea being my preferred solution.

    1) Order your MagicBands or MagicBand+ devices through shopDisney at the regular price and have them shipped to your hotel for your pre-stay since MagicBands/MagicBand+ devices are not shipped to Canada at this time.

    2) Upon arrival, visit World of Disney® at Disney Springs to purchase your bands at the regular price and then link them to your My Disney Experience planning via the My Disney Experience App – a Cast Member can assist you with linking your bands as soon as you purchase them, it only takes a few moments.

    3) Opt into Disney MagicMobile Service which will enable you to access your theme park admission from your digital wallet on your mobile device - this is complimentary and convenient!

    Tips:
    Please ensure you secure your advance Disney Park Pass - Theme Park Reservations if you haven't already, as this is the method of visiting the theme parks at this time.

    To expedite your arrival, complete your Disney Resort Hotel Online Check-In to receive updates regarding your Guest Room and also facilitate unlocking your Guest Room door using your mobile device, or your valid MagicBand/MagicBand+ devices with Direct-to-Room Service.
