How can I order magic bands for orders for an upcoming DVC vacation I can’t find them on the DVC SITE

    Hey There, Gene!

As a fellow Disney Vacation Club Member, I'm glad to welcome you to planDisney –– thanks for stopping by with your question.  Were you as excited as I was to see the announcement that the new MagicBand+ devices are finally available?  While I didn't get to try them during a visit to the parks earlier this week, I saw them in action and they look so fun!  In particular, my family is excited to try the Star Wars: Batuu Bounty Hunters game when we visit Black Spire Outpost later this year and become official members of the Bounty Hunters Guild (just like our favorite Beskar-clad Commando).  If you're looking for a way to add some extra fun to your upcoming stay, I definitely recommend giving some of these new games and quests a try!

Like you, I'm always excited to choose a MagicBand for my upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation, and now with the option to pre-order MagicBand+ devices, there are more choices than ever.  Not only that, but as a Guest staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel –– which includes all Disney Vacation Club Resorts –– you'll enjoy an exclusive MagicBand discount when you select a band before you arrive (which is always a win in my book).  While you won't be able to make your MagicBand selections directly from the Disney Vacation Club website, once you've linked your upcoming reservation to your My Disney Experience account, you'll be able to order your bands directly from the Walt Disney World Resort website or by using the My Disney Experience mobile app. Let me walk you through the steps for linking your DVC reservation so you can choose the perfect MagicBand for your upcoming visit:

    1. On the Disney Vacation Club website, sign in using your Member account credentials and click on the "My DVC" tab.
    2. Under "My Vacation Plans", click on the dates of your upcoming reservation.
    3. Grab a pen and paper and write down your reservation number.
    4. Under "Trip Options", click on "Connect Disney Account".
    5. This should take you to the My Disney Experience account connected to your DVC Membership.  Under "Gene's Plans and Tickets", hover over the blue "Resort Hotel" circle and select "Link a Reservation".
    6. After entering your reservation number and last name, continue following the onscreen prompts to finish adding your reservation to your My Disney Experience account.

And that's it! After your reservation has been added, hover over the "My Disney Experience" tab at the top of the page and select "My MagicBands and Cards" to make your MagicBand selections and place your order.

It was so nice to see you here at planDisney, Gene.  If you think of more planning questions as your upcoming visit approaches, I hope you'll visit us again –– we're always here to help!

    Happy Planning,
    Amy
