    In order to link a credit card to the magic band do you have to do so through the front desk of resorts and if so do they have to keep the card? I have my Disney Visa attached to MDE but I want to keep it on me for discounts and meet and greet purposes.

    Thanks for stopping back by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. MagicBands are a fantastic way to access all of your Walt Disney World vacation plans which are linked together in your My Disney Experience account at the touch of your wrist. I'm old enough to remember the days before MagicBands and they have made my family's Disney vacations even MORE fun!

    I absolutely love all the fantastic perks I get from owning a Disney Visa Card, as well. To attach it to your MagicBand, you will need to do that at the front desk of your Disney Resort Hotel. They will not need to keep the card so you will be free to carry it with you.
