Hey there, Barbara! I'm thrilled you stopped by planDisney with your question about rushing through the lines at your favorite attractions. I always get excited when it's time to book Lightning Lanes because it means my trip is almost here!
You can buy and manage
Lightning Lane passes on the
My Disney Experience app. On the top of the home screen, you should see the "Lightning Lane Multi Pass / Single Pass" tile. Select "Purchase."
The first screen asks you to pick the date. If you stay at a
Disney Resorts Collection or other participating hotel, you can get these seven days before your arrival for the length of your trip (up to 14 days). If you are not staying on property, you can get them three days before your park visit.
Next up: theme park. The app will show you the cost of the Multi Pass and the Single Passes offered at your chosen park. Select your pass and click "Continue." Then you pick whom you want included in the purchase and the attractions you would like. In the
Magic Kingdom,
EPCOT, and
Hollywood Studios, the attractions are divided into two groups. You can pick one from the first group and two (or all three) from the other one. You can choose any three attractions from the list at
Animal Kingdom.
The app will display your selections along with arrival windows for each experience. You can modify the times based on availability. Once you have the attractions and times you want, follow the prompts to complete your purchase. You should be all set!
