Hi, there!
Welcome to planDisney, Linda. I'm just thrilled to hear you'll be traveling to the
Walt Disney World Resort this summer! My family will be visiting this month too, and we are counting down the days with excitement.
Ordering groceries for your stay is a super great idea. As a mom of three, I'm always sure to order bottled drinks, snacks, on-the-go breakfast items, and fresh produce to be delivered to our Disney Resort hotel. The last thing I need on vacation is a "hangry" kiddo!
You have lots of options for grocery delivery. Some planDisney panelists have used Instacart, Walmart, and Amazon Now, but my family has been using Garden Grocer for years now. We've had nothing but great experience with this Orlando-based delivery service! I just checked their website and they have plenty of available delivery windows for the week of your stay. To order groceries, just add items to your online cart, select a delivery date and time, and then check out! Your groceries will be delivered to Bell Services at your Disney Resort hotel. They'll refrigerate any perishable items for you, so don't hesitate to order produce or dairy products. When you're ready for your groceries, you can just swing by Bell Services to pick them up. If you'd prefer to have your groceries delivered directly to your room, simply call Bell Services to make that request.
Please note that to have groceries delivered to your room, you'll need to be present for the delivery and you'll be charged a $6 delivery fee that will be added to your room folio (that price is subject to change at any time).
Be sure to review the
Know Before You Go section of the Walt Disney World Resort website before your arrival. It has lots of important information about the health and safety measures that are being taken in
and out of the theme parks!
I hope this was helpful, Linda. I'm wishing you a Disney vacation that is practically perfect in every way!
Ashley
