What is order of drop off at Riviera from parks? The gondola will be closed during our stay and we have 1 and 2 year old.

    Hi, there!

Welcome to planDisney, Linda. I'm so happy you stopped by and even happier to hear you're planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation! You're sure to have a magical stay.

You're going to just love Disney's Riviera Resort. It's one of my family's favorites from the Disney Resorts Collection! As a mom of three, I understand your concerns about traveling to and from the theme parks. There is only one bus stop at Disney's Riviera Resort, which is super convenient. You'll find it just outside the main entrance to the lobby. There you'll find a dedicated bus for each of the four theme parks and Disney Springs. While it's unfortunate that the Disney Skyliner will be unavailable during your stay, I can tell you that a bus ride to Disney's Hollywood Studios or EPCOT from Disney's Riviera Resort will only take a few minutes!

As you exit each theme park, pay attention to the Bus Directory signs. The signs will indicate which gate to head to for return service to Disney's Riviera Resort. Based on my experience, the walk from the theme park exit to the bus gate is sometimes too long for little ones, especially after a long day of pixie-dusted adventures! For that reason, I recommend taking a double stroller along with you on your Disney vacation. Double strollers are available to rent from each of the four theme parks, but they need to be returned to the rental location before exiting. The nice thing about having your own double stroller on hand is that you can keep your kiddos in the stroller while you're walking to the bus gate. And I can't tell you how many times my kiddos have been lulled to sleep on the bus ride back to our Disney Resort hotel! We've been spared from having to carry them back to our room because we always have our stroller with us. If you choose to bring your own double stroller, just be sure it's no larger than 31" in width and 52" in length. My very favorite double stroller for cruising the theme parks, the City Mini Double, meets those size restrictions!

I hope this was helpful, Linda. Please let me know if you have any other questions about visiting the Walt Disney World Resort with little ones in tow! I'd love to help you prepare for a magical visit.
