DisneyBand+ is a convenient way to access your stateroom, make purchases onboard, and to check both in and off the ship during visits to ports of call. If you are a resident of the United States with an eligible reservation, then you can purchase DisneyBand+ for all of the members of your sailing party ahead of time online. Just remember that DisneyBand+ orders must be placed at least 11 days prior to sail date to allow time for delivery.
To start your DisneyBand+ order, go to the
main Disney Cruise Line website and log in to your MyDisney account. Then click on the tab at the top right labeled “Already Booked” and select “DisneyBand+” under the middle “Before You Go” section. That will open up the DisneyBand+ information page and you need to scroll down near the bottom where it says “Purchase DisneyBand+ Before Your Cruise.” Click on the button that says “Order My DisneyBand+” and it will open up a new page that says “DisneyBand+ and More” at the top with the information for your upcoming sailing listed below. You should then see a blue button that says “Get Started” under the icons for each member of your sailing party. Click on that button and you will be able to select a design for each person from all of the available options. Once you have chosen a design for everyone, it will take you to a checkout page to make your purchase.
Keep in mind that DisneyBand+ has the same functionality as the MagicBand+ used at some other Disney destinations, including the
Walt Disney World Resort and the
Disneyland Resort. Although they have different names, they still have the same basic capabilities and are interchangeable. Therefore, if all of the members of your sailing party already have a MagicBand+, then they can choose to use those on board instead of purchasing new DisneyBand+ designs.
