In order to dine at one of the Epcot restaurants, do I need an park ticket for Epcot?

    Welcome to planDisney Ann!

Ooh, how I love the restaurants in EPCOT. In fact, I just booked dinner at Via Napoli for an upcoming December trip. This is a "must do" for my family each and every visit to Walt Disney World!

In order to dine in EPCOT, each guest must have a valid Theme Park Ticket. If you have the Park Hopper option on your ticket, feel free to hop parks any time after 2:00pm.

Another very important step when planning your visit to Walt Disney World is to make your Theme Park Reservations. This is on top of your ticket. Once you have your tickets purchased and linked to your My Disney Experience account, you can proceed with booking your Theme Park Reservations. You only need to book for the first park you plan to visit each day. If you are park hopping, you may do so without a reservation (remember, after 2:00pm!)

If you do not have a park ticket for any day of your vacation, you will find plenty of wonderful options outside of the theme parks. Try dining at one of the resort hotels, on the Boardwalk, or at Disney Springs. I really enjoy dining at the resorts so I can check out where I might stay on my next Walt Disney World adventure!

One final tip: Once you choose where you will be and where you want to dine, make your Dining Reservations up to 60 days in advance. Quick Service locations do not have reservations, but you will definitely want to book your Table Service ahead of time.

Wishing you many magical meals in Walt Disney World!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
