How do we order a cot for the cabins when booking?

    Hi Annette!

The Fort Wilderness Cabins offer guests such a great experience when visiting Walt Disney World. They are set among pine trees where you can often see the local deer and turkey strutting through the loops.

The cabins are well equipped and recently refurbished making them a comfortable lodging choice. There are bunk beds and a queen bed in the bedroom and a queen pull out sofa in the living area. Cots are not available for the cabins as there is not enough room to safely have a cot in either the bedroom or the living area. If you have a small child who uses a portable crib then you can have that addition. The cribs are available upon request.

I understand that many families prefer to have separate sleeping beds for children and you might consider bringing a small air mattress. This would have to be able to put aside during the day for cleaning purposes of the cabin but it might offer you the best solution for added sleeping surfaces.

I know you will enjoy the added drawers and storage and the big screen tv for the family to enjoy. The dining table is sufficient for 6 persons and the kitchen is fully equipped so you can save some money and time and do simple cooking. To top it off there is a great deck with picnic table and a grill outside. I am sure you will enjoy your Fort Wilderness cabin stay!
