Take it from a Prince, there's nothing quite like visiting Walt Disney World Resort and being able to dine right inside a castle at the heart of
Magic Kingdom Park. The experience at
Cinderella's Royal Table is truly like any other, but it seems like you've heard about a super-special sweet secret that guests have been able to add on to cap off their Princess meal like the perfect ending to a fairy tale.
Not too many royal guests to Cinderella Castle are aware of the offerings that may not be
found on the menu, and I only discovered several of these Specialty Enhancements myself when I inquired about
magical ways to propose at Walt Disney World Resort. At the time these included the Glass Slipper Engagement Package that was formerly available, with additional offerings like champagne flutes and
special celebration cakes! I had a chance to stroll past and speak with the Cast Members today who let me know that the most recent offering was called the "
Lost Slipper Dessert" wherein you would pour a warm sauce over a chocolate dome that melts away to reveal a miniature slipper inside. It's definitely the kind of magical flourish that just fits within the walls of Fantasyland!
Guests are currently required to make requests for Specialty Enhancements at least 72 hours in advance but the Cast Members also let me know that as a limited-time offering there is no guarantee that it would be available as these are always subject to change without prior notice. As an international guest your best bet is to reach out to the Special Events team at
