    We would like to order a cake to be delivered to our room at the Beach club villas. I called the phone number for cake requests and they don't give this option. Do they no longer deliver to the dvc rooms?

    I did a little digging...okay, a lot of digging...and found out that you can absolutely have a personalized cake delivered to your Beach Club Villa; the reason that it wasn't an option on the recording you heard is that this is now handled by "Private Dining," rather than the service which delivers celebratory cakes to many Walt Disney World restaurants.

    The bakery at Beach Club Villas can be reached at (407) 934-3105.  Try to call at least 48 hours in advance to order the delivery of your personalized cake.  Just to see what options you might have, I asked about a basic cake that could serve 4-6, and was quoted options for both a 6" cake, which serves 4-6 ($29.34), and an 8" cake, which serves 8 ($43.04).  Of course, these prices are accurate at the time of this writing, and are subject to change.

    The 6" includes the option of a vanilla cake with butter cream icing or a chocolate cake with chocolate butter cream icing. The 8" offers either a vanilla cake with white chocolate filling and white chocolate icing or a chocolate cake with dark chocolate filling and dark chocolate icing.  All of these options can be personalized to read "Happy Birthday, Susan" or some other magical memory you'd like to create!

    There are other options, of course, but I thought I'd get you started on some basics here.  Hope this helps!
