Hi Moms! Is the only way to order a birthday cake for an ADR to ring and order? I am overseas and wondered if I can order via email communication, but I cannot find further info on the Reservation Details on My Disney Experience. Thank you!

Hello Maria! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Celebrating a birthday adds another level to the already Endless Magic of a Walt Disney World Resort Vacation.

There are multiple ways to Customize a Celebration while visiting Walt Disney World Resort.

You are correct that when requesting a customized birthday cake for an Advanced Dining Reservation at a Walt Disney World Resort Dining Location, you need to place the order by contacting (407) 827-2253. The Cast Members wish to ensure that every part of the design is completely made to order and by speaking directly can ask any questions to ensure satisfaction. Customized Cakes may not be requested for dining locations at the Magic Kingdom.

If you do not require a customized birthday cake, 6-inch chocolate and vanilla are available at most Walt Disney World Resort Dining Locations without advanced notice. Simply inform your server upon arrival.

If you are looking for more than a cake or wish to request something online, you may be interested in perusing the offerings at Disney Floral and Gifts. Disney Floral and Gifts delivers to Walt Disney World Resort Hotels and Restaurants, as well as many off-property locations, and have several Birthday-Themed surprises like Mickey's Happy Surprise Cake(complete with Birthday-themed Mickey Ears).

    Have a Magical Birthday Celebration!
