    Hi, In order to add a dining plan to a hotel booking (preferably for free if the offer comes out soon) do you also have to book park tickets at the same time? Also if booking a package for a 1 week stay can 14 day tickets still be bought to use in the week

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

    It's a real pleasure to assist my fellow Guests from the UK!   You are correct - a Disney Dining Plan may only be added to a Disney Resort hotel reservation as part of a package that includes park tickets.  This applies whether you are purchasing a Disney Dining Plan, or receiving it as part of a 'free dining' special promotion.   The offer of free dining is never guaranteed, but in recent years it has been made available in April - last year it was towards the end of the month - so keep your eyes peeled for any announcements about this.  Fingers crossed!   To see all the latest offers available, click on the "Deals" tab on the front page of www.disneyholidays.co.uk. 

    For your week's stay you can purchase whichever park tickets you wish to.  The UK Ultimate Tickets, available for 7, 14 or 21 days offer really great value, with unlimited park hopping between the four theme parks and the two water parks and also include Memory Maker.  This is where you can make great use of the Disney PhotoPass Photographers at more than 100 locations around Walt Disney World Resort, as well as 8 dining locations (including many character dining experiences), and 13 attractions - you know that special moment when you are just about to scream?? - that will be captured for you!  I also recommend visiting the Disney PhotoPass Studios (located in Magic Kingdom Park, and at Disney Springs Marketplace).  You can have your family photos with a choice of 100 different backgrounds!  All of these photos will appear in your My Disney Experience account for you to download as many as you like.   

    I recommend that you start making your plans for your Walt Disney World Resort holiday for 2021 so that you are ready to book if, and when, free dining is announced.  This is always a very popular promotion!  Please come back and visit us again if you have any further questions.  We will be very happy to help you plan your magical holiday!
