Hello Elizabeth from NC from Elisabeth from SC!
Your girls' first visit to
Walt Disney World is only months away! How enchanted and excited they will be to catch a glimpse of their favorite princesses, gaze at Cinderella Castle as it glows from fireworks bursting overhead, and eat all the the Mickey shaped foods!
Any of these dates would give you an amazing, magical trip to the theme parks, but I would choose door number three, February 28- March 5. The other two possibilities border a holiday weekend when school age children are on vacation. Many districts grant students two or more days for the Martin Luther King, Jr holiday and schools in colder areas often take the week of Presidents' Day off for a winter break. Families with school age children love to visit Walt Disney World when the kiddos are out of school. My speculation is the last option would give you more manageable crowds than the earlier ones. Plus the weather tends to be spectacular in Central Florida in early March- warm and sunny with less humidity than the summer.
If your daughters are princess fans, consider a meal at
Cinderella's Royal Table inside her elegant
Magic Kingdom castle. The glass slippered gal herself greets her subjects in a socially distanced manner during your meal. If your girls prefer Mickey and Minnie,
Chef Mickey's inside
Disney's Contemporary Resort is walking distance from the Magic Kingdom. Breakfast here, served up alongside a modified appearance by classic characters, is one of my favorite meals at Walt Disney World.
Wishing you and your family a wonderful visit to see Mickey!
