Hey there! Hi there, Ginger! It's always peachy keen to meet a fellow Georgian with
Walt Disney World on their mind. Welcome to planDisney!
Stroller rental is available at each theme park, near the entrances at the
Magic Kingdom,
EPCOT,
Hollywood Studios, and
Animal Kingdom. They offer both single- and double-strollers, with storage underneath and a place to set your phone and beverages while heading to the next attraction. You can rent them by the day or, currently, get a discounted multi-day rate for the length of your stay. If you have a few days at the parks, the multiple-day rental also saves time in the morning, as you can skip the register and show your receipt at the pickup area.
At the end of your time at that theme park, you simply drop off the stroller where you got it. If you are headed to another park, just show your receipt for one to use there.
Since you asked about "other options," I am guessing you might also want to know about off-site stroller rental companies. ScooterBug is a popular choice. They will deliver the stroller to your resort. While rented, this stroller is yours: you can take it between theme parks and back to your hotel. A few others I have seen include Kingdom Strollers and Magic Strollers. Since your trip begins tomorrow and Thanksgiving Week is usually a busy time of year, you may want to check their availability as soon as possible.
No matter where you get your stroller, I recommend bringing a bright ribbon (have any in neon colors?). In a sea of strollers, having something that makes yours easy to spot can be a sanity saver. Cast Members rearrange strollers to clear pathways or help accommodate more. Even knowing this, panic can start to set in when my stroller is not where I left it. A ribbon makes that moment last seconds at most.
Ginger, I hope you enjoy your trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth during the most wonderful time of the year! Disney is truly fab-YULE-ous! If you have any other questions,
planDisney is always happy to help!
See 'Ya Real Soon!
