What are our options for storing luggage at our hotel if we arrive a few hours before check-in time?

Bell Services is very helpful at all Walt Disney World resorts, although during busier check in times you may wait a little while before your luggage arrives your room. When you arrive at your hotel, have Bell Services take your luggage to storage. You will be given a claim ticket for your bags.

Then go to the Front Desk to Check In. If your room is unavailable, you’ll pre-register. Pre-registration takes care of everything (room account, Key To The World Card, hotel guide) except giving you your actual room number.

If your room is ready, you can call Bell Services from your room to bring up your bags. There is a button on your phone that dials directly to the Bell Stand. A Bellman will bring your luggage and any other items that you checked in to your room. There is cold storage for medicines and groceries. You may also have laptops, jewelry and other valuables placed in a more secure area.

If your room is not ready, simply proceed with your day. You can go to a park, shop at Downtown Disney, use your resort pool or dine at a restaurant. You’ll be given a card with a phone number to call to periodically check on your room. Or just plan to return later in the day - usually after 3 p.m. The only hotel that has never let us in to our room early is the Grand Floridian and once we had to wait at the Polynesian. Otherwise in the off-season when room occupancy is lower, we’ve always been given our room, even as early as 9:30 a.m.
