What are our options for a room for a family of 6. We have 4 daughters ages 9, 7, and the twins will be 2. We're planning on going next Fall right before the babies turn 3.

    Hi Eric,

A family suite at one of the Walt Disney World value resorts may be just the ticket for your family. My favorite suites are at Disney's Art of Animation resort, where the suites are themed around The Lion King, Finding Nemo and Cars.

Each suite includes a bedroom with a queen-sized bed and a large bathroom. There's a living room area with a sofa that folds out into a double bed, a dining area with a double bed that pulls from the wall to rest on the table base, another full bathroom and a kitchenette with a microwave, mini refrigerator and coffeemaker.

The suites sleep six comfortably with plenty of lounging space, and having two full bathrooms is key. The kitchenette also allows you to save money by having snacks, drinks and breakfast items on hand.

The grounds at Art of Animation are pretty amazing, too, as if you stepped into the featured films. The Nemo-themed Big Blue Pool is the largest at Walt Disney World.

Family suites also are available at the All-Star Music resort. I haven' stayed there so I'm not as familiar with those.

You also might want to consider another of my favorites, the Cabins at Fort Wilderness, which sleep six. The cabins are a bit more secluded in the peaceful setting of Fort Wilderness. They have a full kitchen and an outdoor patio in addition to a separate bedroom and bunk beds and/or foldout beds in the living area. but only one bathroom.

I hope that gives you some ideas for comfortably housing your family on your Walt Disney World vacation. Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Eric. Please let us know if you have more questions. Enjoy!
