    What are my options to meet a character outside of a theme park? I know several character dining experiences exist at some Resorts, but do the characters ever to meet-and-greets at Resorts or Disney Springs?

    Howdy Sam!

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  Thank you for sharing your question!  Your Walt Disney World vacation is only a month away!  I’m sure you are counting down the days!

    The different character dining locations throughout the Walt Disney World Resort Parks and Walt Disney World Resort Hotels is definitely the best way to meet a variety of characters in a comfortable setting.  I also love the Chip ‘n’ Dale’s Campfire Sing-A-Long!  This is located at The Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort.  It is so much fun to roast marshmallows around a campfire, sit back and sing-a-long to a few Disney favorites, and enjoy our favorite chipmunks coming around and greeting the crowd!  This is really a great time for everyone.  To check on times, you can ask the concierge upon arrival at your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel and they can give you up-to-date information.  Times and days are subject to change and weather conditions can cancel this experience.
