Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, David!
"Ya-hoo! Hoop-dee hoop-dee Hoop-Dee-Doo!" I just love
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue. Did you know that it's one of the longest running productions at Walt Disney World Resort? Even more impressive is that the show has changed very little since it's introduction in 1974. Get ready for an energetic evening with the Pioneer Hall Players as they raise the roof with smilin', laughin', singin', dancin', rootin' tootin' and Hoop-Dee-Doo'in'!
I shared this show with family in March when my son was a few months shy of three and in that phase where he would lick only chicken nuggets and declare himself full, so I too was worried about what he would eat (err, not-eat) during this dinner show. Luckily, Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue has a whole host of alternative meals for a number of
special dietary needs. The children's options are chicken nuggets, a hot dog, macaroni and cheese, and a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Children can also ask to order from the other special diet options like baked chicken or grilled salmon from the gluten-free menu or plain pasta topped with either a plain red sauce, butter or olive oil from the vegetarian selections.
Pro Tip: Buckets of fried chicken and barbecue ribs (which have been voted as the best at Walt Disney World Resort) are timed to come out to your table during a song, so ask and order any alternative meals for your party when placing your drink orders so those wanting something else will be able to dig in when you do.
Bonus Tip: This is an all-you-care-to-enjoy meal, so don't hesitate to ask for seconds. But be sure to save room for "Straw! Straw-Berry. Strawberry Short! Cake!"
We'll See You Real Soon, David!
