    What are my options with getting onto Rise of the Resistance as a non-DisneyResort guest? I'm staying on International Drive. It looks like I either have to get lucky with RotR LightningLane at 1pm, or wait in a 3 hr standby line...

    Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance located in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at Disney's Hollywood Studios is the most incredible adventure I have ever experienced! Guests get the opportunity to join the Resistance in the galactic battle against the First Order. Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance is a top-rated attraction, as you have noted, but there are ways to lessen your time in line if you are unable to secure an Individual Lightning Lane reservation.

    My best strategy to minimize the wait time for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance utilizing the Standby line, according to my experience, is to get to Disney's Hollywood Studios at least an hour before the park is scheduled to open on that particular day. Typically, Guests are let into the park before the scheduled opening time so the Guests can get through bag check and the entrance ticket portals. The Guests wait on the main street or avenue until rope drop. I would recommend heading straight to Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance as soon as the rope drop to get into the Standby line. I have utilized this exact strategy and only had to wait a maximum of 40 minutes to experience this amazing attraction and sometimes less. Keep in mind that your results may vary but if you get into the standby in the first few hundred people, then your wait time will be minimized.
