Welcome to planDisney, Brian!
If you're wanting to make it a "bella notte," then a Disney fireworks cruise is the perfect way to surprise your wife. The first option that comes to my mind is
Ferrytale Fireworks: A Sparkling Dessert Cruise. This is available on select Wednesday and Saturday nights. You'll enjoy delectable desserts and magical water views of
Disney Enchantment. Although this cruise is not based inside Magic Kingdom Park, you'll get a truly amazing view from
Seven Seas Lagoon. I've watched the fireworks from this vantage point and it was uniquely magical.
If you're planning on going with a group of people that includes your wife, another option would be booking a
Disney specialty cruise. This is a little pricier but includes a boat that can seat up to 10 Guests. You'll also get your own captain, some assorted snacks and soft drinks, as well as any festive banners and balloons you'd like to request. You can watch Disney Enchantment at
Magic Kingdom Park by setting sail from one of the following marinas:
If you'd like to experience
Harmonious at
EPCOT, then you can charter a cruise from Disney's Yacht and Beach Club Resort. This will take you underneath the International Gateway bridge and you'll be able to watch the nighttime spectacular from there.
I hope that gives you some options, Brian. I'm sure your wife will be made to feel like a true Disney Princess.
Have a great trip!
Mike
