Hey Cody! Welcome to planDisney. I just got back from Disneyland myself and experienced some of the amazing nighttime spectaculars! Seeing those nights light up with magic once again made my Disneyland-loving heart burst with joy! You are in luck as there are several dessert and dining packages offered that include reserved seating. Let's take a look!
WORLD OF COLOR
DESSERT PARTYYou can book the World of Color Dessert Party directly on the
Disneyland website or within the mobile app. Everyone is pretty excited about this, so I recommend securing this reservation as soon as you can! With two showtimes per evening, there are two dessert parties that you can attend. When you check in, you will be asked if you prefer a low-top front table or a high-top back table (TIP: go for the high top for a better view!). There are some fun drinks to choose from and you will receive a plate with so many rainbow-inspired treats that you will ask for a box to take some home!
DINING PACKAGESThe World of Color dining packages work a bit differently. While they require you to make a dining reservation at a participating restaurant, the package itself is an add-on requested when you check in for your meal. If you are interested in this option, make either a lunch or dinner reservation at Wine Country Trattoria or a dinner reservation at Storytellers Cafe. Be sure to check the Entertainment Schedule first to avoid overlapping your meal with the performance! When you arrive, ask the Cast Members if the World of Color Dining Package is available that evening as they are first-come, first-serve, and subject to availability.
MAIN STREET ELECTRICAL PARADE
The Plaza Inn is offering a dining package that includes prime viewing of the Main Street Electrical Parade. I was able to see this last week and the nostalgia I felt hearing those first techno beats was magical! The dining package includes a lunch reservation between 1:00 - 3:30 p.m. and a voucher for the first performance of the parade. Unlike World of Color, you will need to book the
Plaza Inn Dining Package specifically rather than just a normal reservation at the Plaza Inn. If you are in the parks on a night when the Disneyland Forever fireworks are scheduled, you will get a two-for-one bonus as they start just as the parade ends and your spot will be great for both!
FANTASMIC!With the anticipated return of Fantasmic! on May 28th, Disneyland released some dining package options just last week! There is an
On-the-Go Package at the Hungry Bear as well as a dining package at
River Belle Terrace, both of which require advanced reservations which can be made on the website or within the app.
