What are my options if I have a 4 day ticket and I am unable to go all 4 days? Possibly only 2 days will be used

Hey Howdy Hey Ana and welcome to planDisney!

Thank you for stopping by with your question about your theme park tickets. I am sorry to hear you might not be able to use all of your days as you had planned. I will be happy to give you a little more insight into your options if you are unable to use all of your theme park tickets.

Theme park tickets are nontransferable and nonrefundable but you still may be able to use the 2 days if you are unable to during your stay. After your trip, you can log onto your My Disney Experience account to check on your tickets and reassign the date of usage if you are unable to use 1 or 2 days of tickets. Log onto your My Disney Experience account and at the "My Plans, Reservations and Tickets" section, look for the heading "My Tickets, Passes & Memory Maker" which you will click on. There, you should see all of the tickets you still have linked to your account that went unused. You should also see a blue link at the bottom to "Change Ticket". Click on that link and you should be given the option to reassign your unused tickets to a new date if you know when you want to go back! All tickets are priced specifically for dates and seasons so if you want to book a new date that is more expensive than what you initially paid for the ticket, you will see a charge for the difference.

If you wanted to visit Walt Disney World Resort again next year or at a time outside of your expiration date, you still may have the option to do so. If you know when you will be visiting, you can call Disney at (407) 934-7639 and speak to a Cast Member about your ticket situation. In most cases, Disney will allow you to apply the cost of your unused tickets to new tickets with a different expiration date. As noted above, if there is a price difference, you will be responsible for the difference. This should still allow you to get full usage of your tickets and maximize your time in the Most Magical Place on Earth!

With everything that is changing around the parks this year, I am sure you will have so many exciting things to look forward to. This year alone the Disney community is waiting for the opening date of TRON Lightcycle / Run in Magic Kingdom in the spring of 2023 as well as much of the work in EPCOT to be finished with The Journey of Water Inspired by Moana. There is so much more you will be able to experience and you can follow along with all of the exciting news at Disney Parks Blog and be the first to hear the latest!

I hope this helped outline your options for using your tickets now and in the future. If you have any further questions, please feel free to reach back out and let us know, we would be happy to help!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Nick
