Hi there, Vanessa!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am excited that you sailed by with your question about cruising with Captain Mickey! If you have already booked or are considering booking a Disney Cruise Line vacation, I can guarantee that you will have a magical vacation and make some incredible memories that will last a lifetime!
Hands down, one of the greatest things about a Disney Cruise Line vacation are the onboard Youth Clubs, which are included with your reservation! Each Disney Cruise Line ship has onboard Youth Clubs for all ages – from the littlest cruiser to high schoolers! The
Oceaneer Club and
Oceaneer Lab are the spots your six and four-year-old will LOVE to go! There they can play, explore and create all while making new friends and being cared for by some of the best Cast Members ever! In addition to free play, there are also scheduled activities and entertainment in the Youth Clubs that children can participate in if they choose to. In fact, my boys enjoy the Oceaneer Club and Lab so much that we often have to bribe them to even leave! Hint – the chocolate chip cookies available by the pool or from Room Service act as a great bribe when you need one! If you happen to be visiting
Castaway Cay while at sea, your Mouseketeers can also visit Scuttle’s Cove, the island’s Youth Club for kiddos! Hours at all the Youth Clubs vary from voyage to voyage, but they often open mid-morning and stay open until late in the evening!
While your littles are enjoying themselves in the spaces reserved just for them, make sure YOU explore and enjoy the adult-exclusive spaces onboard, too! I love heading to the
Quiet Cove Pool for a relaxing afternoon and we always take advantage and make it a date night with an adult-exclusive dinner reservation at
Palo or Remy!
Wishing you a magical and memorable adventure at sea for your and your littles, Vanessa!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
