What (if any) options are available for a family of 9 (2-adults, 7-children ages 16,14, 12, 12, 10, 8, 6...looking for planning options including resorts that can accommodate that many!!! Thanks in advance for any advice!!!

    Hi Amanda,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for your question!

Budget permitting, a 2-Bedroom Villa at a Disney Deluxe Villa (Like my favourite Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village) would be the ideal way to fit your entire family into one Walt Disney World Resort Hotel room. When we’ve travelled with a large gang, we absolutely loved having all of the amenities that are available in a 2-Bedroom Villa, like a full kitchen and 3 full bathrooms. However, unless you’re a Disney Vacation Club Member (or able to rent points from another member), these rooms can be quite expensive.

A more budget-friendly alternative would be for your family to get 2 Family Suites at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort. Each Family Suite sleeps 6, has a kitchenette and two bathrooms, which would definitely be a bonus for a family of 9! You can make a request to have your rooms close together, but please note that, while your Resort Hotel will make every effort to honour your request, the availability of connecting rooms is not guaranteed.

For more planning ideas, please visit the Rooms for 5 Guests or More page. I would also recommend calling Walt Disney World Resort in order to discuss your plans and plan your family’s perfect vacation.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne

As Disney Vacation Club members, we often plan trips for large, and sometimes even multi-generational, groups to come and enjoy the fun with us. Learn More About Lynne
