Hello there, Rachael. Welcome to planDisney. It's so nice to virtually meet you!
Currently, you cannot upgrade one of the
U.K. ticket deals to an Annual Pass. However, when you arrive in the United States, you are welcome to purchase the Disney Incredi-Pass, which, at this time, is the only Annual Pass available to Guests who do not reside in the state of Florida. And speaking of Florida residents, those Guests are the only ones who can take advantage of a payment plan for these passes. All other Guests must pay for the pass in full at the time of purchase. Also, just so you know, Annual Pass sales have been paused in the past, but it has been a while since that happened.
I have the Incredi-Pass myself, and I have not once regretted my decision to become an Annual Passholder. Not only does it pay for itself if you visit often enough, but it also comes with some great perks and discounts. In fact, many
merchandise locations across the resort offer a discount exclusively for Annual Passholders. One of the tricks I have up my sleeve is that any time I want a bottle of water or another bottled beverage, I purchase it at a participating merchandise location so I can get a discount. If I were to purchase these items at a
food location, the discount doesn't usually apply. Every little bit counts, right? Also, it doesn't hurt that my favorite treat shop in all of the
Walt Disney World Resort,
Karamell-Küche, is currently classified as a merchandise location and offers discounts to Annual Passholders. So I can get those sweet butter bars cheaper than most other Guests.
Rachael, enjoy your upcoming trip, and I wish you a year full of happy memories as a new Passholder! If you have any other questions,
I'm here for you.
May a year full of dreams come true,
Matt
