Is there an option to store our car seat and/or stroller anyplace besides our stateroom? Our stroller in particular is very bulky, but we will need it before and after our trip so renting is not an option. Thanks!

Well ahoy there Megan and welcome aboard the planDisney panel. I'm thrilled that you stopped by with your question about your upcoming Disney Cruise.

The countdown is on as you are just a few short weeks away from your sailing onboard the beautiful Disney Fantasy! That just happens to be my favorite ship in the fleet. With the thrilling AquaDuck waterslide, the interactive Midship Detective Agency, and the indulgent dining found at Remy, there is a lot to love about the Fantasy. I can't wait for Captain Minnie to welcome you aboard!

It sounds like you are cruising with a little sailor in your travel crew and I'm happy to share that the Disney Cruise Line is very accommodating for even the littlest of travelers onboard. I'm also happy to share that your stateroom is designed to hold a lot of the personal effects of small children as well.

When I have sailed with a car seat, I was able to stow it in one of the two closets in my stateroom. I was also able to fit my fairly large stroller under the bed. There is a surprising amount of space to stow your luggage beneath the bed, so I am hopeful that it will fit. If you are finding that your stroller is just too bulky, I recommend that you speak with a Crew Member at the Guest Services desk (you can even reach out to them via the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app once onboard!) and ask if they can help find an alternate parking space for your stroller. While your stateroom is the preferred space for a stroller, they will work with you to make sure you have a comfortable experience throughout your cruise. Please note that for the safety of all of the Crew Members and other guests on the ship, you may not leave strollers in the stairwell landings or corridors onboard.

If you have any other needs for your little one at all while traveling, don't hesitate to ask! The lovely Crew Members of the Disney Cruise Line have always made our experience traveling with young children a magical and memorable one, and I hope for the same experience for you and your sailing crew.

Have a wonderful vacation and please sail back to planDisney again if we can be of any further assistance. It would be our pleasure to help!

    Bon Voyage,
