If you had the option of picking between October 17th week and November 28th, which would you choose. We've been for Christmas already so we're trying to decide which would be most cost effective and less crowded. And which resort for 3 kids under 5?

    Hi Vali,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I think you are off to a fantastic start with your planning. The good news is a visit to Walt Disney World Resort either of those weeks should be very pleasant. Thanksgiving week will have high crowds, but arriving after the holiday and staying for the following week is a great plan.

You mentioned having visited the Walt Disney World Resort during the Christmas season. I love seeing the parks decorated for Christmas, but there is something about fall that makes me want to visit every October!

If you haven't been in the fall, I highly recommend it. The rainy season fades away leaving weather warm enough to swim, but cool enough to enjoy being outside all day. My entire family loves attending Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and Happy HalloWishes is the best fireworks show of the year in my opinion.

For families with younger children, I am a huge fan of Disney's Art of Animation Resort. Not only is the theming colorful and top-notch, they have the largest pool in Walt Disney World Resort and delicious casual dining at Landscape of Flavors. It's just a really fun place to be.

We'd love to continue helping you plan as you get closer to your trip, so feel free to come back and visit any time. Wishing you and your family a magical vacation!
