Hi Jennifer,
Welcome back to planDisney! Thanks for continuing to trust us with your Disney-planning questions.
As a
runDisney participant, I wouldn’t be surprised if you look forward to tacking on a visit to the parks before or after your run. You really are a Lucky Duck getting to combine races with Disney magic!
A pass that would work for both resorts sounds like a dream. Back in 2010, Disney released the Disney Premier Passport. This was a coast-to-coast annual pass that allowed holders to visit all four theme parks at Walt Disney World and both parks at the Disneyland Resort. What a dream! Unfortunately, this pass was discontinued in 2020. I know that sounds like a bibbidi-bobbidi bummer, but that doesn’t mean you’re unable to purchase a pass at all.
Walt Disney World does offer an
Annual Pass for non-Florida residents. Currently, the Disney Incredi-Pass is listed at $1,629 (plus tax). If you take about two trips to Walt Disney World (five days, one park per day), you’ll likely cover the cost of the pass.
The Disneyland Resort also offers a pass called the
Magic Key. The Magic Key program has four different levels, with the top two levels currently available for purchase. With current park prices, the Inspire Key pays for itself after approximately 11 visits, while the Believe Key pays for itself after about 9 visits.
You can decide whether either of these passes makes sense based on how often you plan to visit each resort. I see that there are currently three races scheduled at Walt Disney World for 2026 and one scheduled at Disneyland, so hopefully you’ll find a solution that works best for you.
I hope this information is helpful, Jennifer. Please don’t hesitate to reach out again when planning any future Disney vacations. We here at planDisney are always happy to share our advice and sprinkle a little extra pixie dust on your adventures.
Happy planning!
